Facebook is seeking a Program Coordinator experienced with the research of Critical Facilities or real estate development, to become part of the Data Center Strategic Engineering team. The Facebook Data Center Strategic Engineering team leads the exploration of processes, means and methods that create a strategic benefit in efficiency, reduced material/energy use, and integrating these into the design and planning of Facebook's data center buildings and campuses. Our team endeavors to advance the state of Facebook data centers by guiding Infrastructure development through strategic and innovative solutions that will allow our teams and program to effectively scale and deliver additional facilities annually. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing projects that provide insight and guidance for Strategic Engineering team strategy and programmatic activities. The Program Coordinator will be excited about discerning themes and trends from academic papers, news articles, reports and data sets and communicating findings within the Strategic Engineering & Design team and with cross-functional partners. This position is full-time and located in our Menlo Park office.
* Define tooling strategy that incorporates automation of non-value-add efforts across tooling and coax consistent tool usage
Source and manage consultant and engineering teams to deliver tooling that increases the efficiency of efforts cross-functionally
Working with the Strategic Engineering team to research and source data to create insights, roadmaps, and metrics that drive strategic innovation
Manage internal communication strategies and toolsets to enable and guide direction & collaboration
Provide recommendations on tooling, data organization, and content for internal and external audiences and apply findings to programmatic decision making and cross-functional work streams
Support team with special projects, including high-priority deliverables, external engagements, partnerships, and events
* Experience managing software, building projects with cross-functional stakeholder group interests
5+ years experience in software program management/coordination of tooling alignment strategy
Knowledge of data analytics and its visualization
Organizational, communications experience with experience communicating technical details to leaders
* Experience with construction/owner software
Strong experience in Office 365 SharePoint team environment
Experience within construction, real estate, or owner software
