Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Selected candidate will provide Program Analyst support in support of NSWC Crane, General Purpose Tools and Test Sets (GPTTS), Portfolio Manager Logistics Combat Element Systems (PfM LCES) Management Office.
* The individual shall provide Total Life Cycle Logistics (TLCL) support of fielded and unfielded systems that requires the individual to have a mastery of logistics in order to provide technical support to the customer.
* Assists Program Office in developing program documentation, creating program schedules, tracking program status, evaluating operational and technical alternatives, performing risk assessment and managing integrated product teams, as well as fielding plans.
* Provides expertise on the myriad of factors that influence cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
* Advises in the interpretation and tailoring of DOD acquisition regulations/memorandums, and ensures affordable, supportable and effective systems are delivered to the customer.
* Provides assistance in analyzing and developing improved policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems of acquisition management programs.
* Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature.
* Interacts daily with supervisor, peer groups, and customers.
* Interaction normally involves exchanges or presentation of information.
* Acts as the program focal point for coordination between contractors and government customers.
* Ability to assist and prepare detailed technical analysis reports.
* Technical contributions include technical documentation compilation and review, process and procedure definition, and program safety and technical support.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:

* Bachelor's degree in related field with 4 years of acquisition logistics experience or 8 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
* Strong verbal and written skills.

DESIRE SKILLS:

* Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification/training.
* Experience with the USMC TMDE Systems



CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

* Must possess active Secret Clearance.
