Job Description

Provide expert-level support to the F-35B/C Sustainment Requirements Officer on the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and F-35B/C aviation ground support equipment (SE) by conducting analyses and evaluation of Logistics Planning in support of the following: F-35B/C aircraft, engine, and support equipment for OPNAV N980L.

Essential Job Functions:

In support of requirements officer, assist in the development and refinement of DoN ALIS operational and implementation requirements.

Assist in planning, organizing, and evaluating the operations of ALIS electronic data processing (EDP).

Provide analysis of DoN policies and procedures for ALIS compatibility.

Develop and refine DoN F-35 operational deployment requirements for government review.

Identify, draft, and articulate DoN deployment requirements through a variety of venues that enable acquisition processes at the Joint Program Office.

These deployment requirements include, but are not limited to: Weapons systems, Mission Systems, sustainability equipment, survivability equipment, and training systems.

Maintain awareness of developmental test processes, procedures, and schedules.

Participate in supply chain analysis events to identify critical gaps in the sustainment of deployed operations.

Maintain awareness of developmental test processes, procedures, and schedules.

As necessary, provide direct support to the DoN operational test action officer and ensure operational test and evaluation is fully supported.

Track and provide analysis to ensure technology is accessible, compatible, and equipped with current hardware and software.

Interoperability with the naval aviation enterprise legacy infrastructure as required.

Provide recommendations about accessing information and support.

Maintain current and accurate fielding plan of technology hardware, software and resources.

Track and analyze USN ALIS security plan for government review to ensure technology is secure in all operating environments.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High School Diploma/GED with 13 years of experience with Navy/Marine Corps weapons systems, the NAVAIR acquisition process, and/or requirements development on the OPNAV staff.

Secret security clearance required.

Track legacy information system compatibility across all operational, maintenance, intelligence, and command and control functions.

Be familiar with tech refresh cycles.

Be familiar with all hardware and software.

Be familiar with network operating system.

Conduct thorough and effective liaison with all required agencies and organizations to assist the government in the development of the Program.

Requirements Review brief including its underlying issue sheets and justification.

Maintain communication with HQMC C4ISR, N2/6, N89, JSF Program Office, Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Sea Systems Command, and SPAWAR.

Meet with appropriate engineers and managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.

Desired Skills:
