Description:• Primary role is member of the F-35 Prognostics & Health Management (PHM) Mission Systems Capability Integration Team

* Primary responsibility is to mature the F-35 Mission Systems PHM capability by understanding the aircraft systems/subsystems design, PHM design, actual PHM performance, developing required corrective actions and providing team efficiency/automation to improve mission systems analyses
* Additional responsibilities include evaluation of capability function / performance and identifying & planning capability maturation opportunities & prognostics for all F-35 Air System PHM capabilities.
* Primary Tasks include engineering design and maturation of PHM mission systems.
* Additional tasks include Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) data analysis and automating Joint Reliability and Maintainability Evaluation Team (JRMET) disputes, and engineering design and analysis to resolve issues with aircraft subsystems including those identified in Action Requests from customer aircraft operations
* Additional tasks include analysis of vast quantities of machine data collected from aircraft. The applicant will generate and mature engineering data for isolating and troubleshooting sub-system fault codes and identify nuisance or correlated diagnostic fault codes to mature system performance.
* The applicant will define and analyze applications in prognostic methods for targeted systems.
* Tasks and responsibilities will require interaction with Lockheed Martin & partner engineering teams as well as equipment suppliers, government customers, and operational/test site personnel.
* This position will require approximately 10% travel both internationally and domestically.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technical field.

Desired Skills:

* Familiar with F-35 mission system software, architecture, or processing.
* Demonstrated experience and integration of Aviation Mission Systems on one or more of the following mission systems sub-systems: Integrated Core Processor (ICP), Distributed Aperture System (DAS), Helmet-mounted Display (HMDS), Panoramic Cockpit Display (PCD), or Standby Flight Display (SFD).
* F-35 Program Experience
* Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, or Prognostics & Health Management (PHM) capability development for the F-35 aircraft
* Experience with multiple F-35 Mission Systems subsystems (i.e. ICP, DAS, HMDS, PCD, SFD, RADAR, EOTS, EW, CM, FC&S)
* Familiarity and understanding of the Joint Reliability and Maintainability Evaluation Team (JRMET) process
* Experience with SIMS, DOORS, Dimensions, PDM, FAST, JDL
* Comfortable manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
* Familiarity with data modeling, relational databases and SQL
* Familiarity with Joint Technical Data (JTD) and Anomaly & Failure Resolution System (AFRS)
* Familiarity with SAP Business Objects and Tableau
* Good problem solving and organizational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (i.e. the ability to communicate complex analysis with clarity and precision)
* Passionate about empirical research and naturally inquisitive
* Experience in Systems engineering
* Experience with large and/or complex data sets
* Familiarity with SAP HANA, Hadoop / MapReduce, HUE, Pig, Hive, and Spark
* Familiarity with SAP Business Objects and Tableau
* Familiarity with standard applied machine learning and data mining techniques.
* Experience in data analysis with Python, Scala, R, and/or Java.
