Job Description

Bed Bath and Beyond Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, customer-oriented Production Support Analyst to join our fast-paced ecommerce environment.

In this position, you will need strong problem solving and interpersonal skills. You will be considered as the companies' front liner, responsible for production incidents triaging, research, isolation, resolution and follow up steps in an efficient and accurate manner. In this role you will also be working directly with the stakeholders in the corporate and in the stores as well as internal Support teams via electronic channels, utilities and in person.

Responsibilities:

* Provides 1st Level customer technical support and training resolution via email and other utilities
* Ensures that all support requests are well documented in the ticketing system from the creation of the ticket to the successful resolution
* Analyzes support requests to identify common trends and underlying problems
* Dispatched the support request to other teams as needed
* Escalates critical incidents to the higher level of management
* Stays current with system information, technology changes and updates
* Recognizes, recommends and supports improvements
* Provides on-call/after hours support when needed

Skills & Requirements:

* Strong analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues by utilizing monitoring tools such as Sumo Logic & Quantum Metrics
* Ability to work on multiple tasks with various team members and/or other groups both internally and externally
* Ability to deliver quality results utilizing effective time management skills
* Ability to work independently to develop new skills as needed to support new products and applications
* Experience working with ticketing systems and remote-control technologies
* Good oral and written communication skills
* College degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields
* Preferred working hours 12 to 9 PM EST/EDT
