Responsibilities

* Craft strategy and build the next phase of our data feeds - RESTful APIs and bulk data delivery
* Identify market opportunities through user research, stakeholder collaboration, and analysis of usage and other data
* Own the roadmap of products and features to meet customer needs
* Articulate technical concepts, how they map to product features, and how the features can solve client business problems
* Break down complex concepts into manageable topics
* Establish and maintain best practices in API design
* Establish and maintain best practices in large scale data delivery
* Drive customer acquisition, adoption and retention
* Become the subject matter expert and advocate for your products
* Work as a conduit between the sales, marketing and engineering teams
* Educate customer facing teams on new product features and functionality
* Monitor competition to generate insights that can guide and influence the product roadmap
* Create internal and external documentation to teach about the product

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree required preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or similar
* 2-5 years of experience in product management for a data product company
* Experience in asking the right questions on behalf of clients and packaging the answers for easy consumption
* Experience working with large scale APIs and/or service-oriented architectures as a Product Manager or as a developer/engineer
* Experience with RESTful API programming
* Experience with Amazon Web Services / Google Cloud / Microsoft Azure
* Experience with SDKs
* Leadership skills, client-facing experience and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience with documentation management and maintenance
* Acute attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
