SUMMARY

We're seeking a Product Designer for our Enterprise Product Design Team who wants to build outstanding tools and features for Hulu's ad platform. The right candidate will be an effective cross-functional problem solver who applies design thinking and an impeccable visual sense to add new value to Hulu, our viewers, and our partners.As a Product Designer, you will exercise your passion for application design, productive workflows, and creative problem solving to help the Hulu ad team build a best-in-class ad experience. You will work closely with a dedicated team of designers, product managers, developers, campaign managers, and advertisers to design the tools being used to produce ad experiences for millions of Hulu viewers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Own the design for the ad platform products, from concepts and wireframes to pixel-perfect UI
* Develop design requirements from partner workshops
* Develop new behaviors and features, and improve the usability and utility of existing ones
* Design and prototype in low and high-fidelity, and know when to do which
* Translate quantitative data and qualitative insights into creative ideas and informed design decisions
* Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Engineering and other business partners
* Develop strategies and present hypotheses to continually test, learn and iterate
* Make complex user problems seem simple
* Align all designs to roadmaps, design guidelines, and product vision
* Be the voice in the room that always puts the user first

WHAT TO BRING

* 3+ years in Product Design at a technology company
* A strong portfolio demonstrating both individual and team-based work on products that have shipped
* Preferred: experience designing enterprise products
* Strong analytical skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for teamwork and open communication
* Outstanding visual design aesthetics
* A deep arsenal of design tools (Sketch, InVision, Principle, Framer, Mural, Keynote, Photoshop)
* Ability to translate complex requirements from business operations into designs
* Proficiency in user-centered design thinking methodologies
* A strong drive to overcome obstacles in order to make a product successful
* Ability to articulate, negotiate, and refine design solutions with cross-functional partners
* Excellent prioritization and documentation skills
* Experience with experimentation design (A/B, MVT, Usability, etc.)
