Are you a creative problem solver who has a way with words and storytelling? We need someone with an eye for great content design and demonstrable content strategy chops. Someone who demonstrates how words, images, video, sound and [fill in the blank] can "pave a path" through a funnel of awareness, intention and adoption. And a POV on what that content should be, and how to create it. Intuit's ProConnect Team, focused on designing for Professionals and their consumer and small business clients, is looking for a Content Designer/Strategist to join our team. You'll be collaborating with a whip-smart team of product and marketing designers, product managers and marketers, and third-party creatives to orchestrate outstanding content: conversational UI, first-time-use design, data visualization, video. At Intuit, Designers are part of the entire experience delivery journey; gathering insights, brainstorming, prototyping, and experimenting to launch customer-inspired solutions to our customers' wickedest problems.

Responsibilities

* Immerse yourself in the user experience to understand where customers need assistance by understanding task flow and customer needs
* Deliver user flow diagrams, interaction patterns, design specs, wireframes, mentalmodels, information architecture, and prototypes using emotional design methods
* Ability to write and create content for different segments of customers
* Transform complex accounting jargon into conversational, humanized, approachable language
* Problem solve for customer needs using visual artifacts and storytelling
* Define and evangelize the ProConnect Tax Online voice and tone
* Ensure continuity and cohesion amongst product content and marketing content
* Push and evolve content frameworks and patterns based on brand guidelines
* Collaborate effectively with marketing designers, product designers, product managers, and researchers
* Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews
* Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends
* Conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and customer research
* Work on multiple projects at a time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately

Qualifications

* Experience in content design, content strategy, or related field
* Previous experience partnering with Product Designers or working as a content designer within a product
* Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field
* Deep knowledge of design principles and methods
* Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results
* Effective storyteller (visual and verbal), communicator, presenter, and negotiator
* Excellent verbal and written English skills
* Expert knowledge of English grammar
* A dazzling online portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative process
* Technical acumen and knowledge of CSS is a plus
