Robert Half is seeking a Process Control Associate who will partner with the Manager, Background Checks (BGC) to define high level goals and objectives specific to RH's preferred and non-preferred BGC vendors and develop a BGC roadmap and establish priorities related to program/process and application changes to support business growth and optimal support.
* This is a contract position*
Specific responsibilities include:
* Enter, monitor and review BGC data for accuracy and completeness related business processes, policies and procedures. * Participate as primary troubleshooter, proactively monitor and resolve system/vendor inquires or issues in a timely and professional manner. * Collaborate with other BGC Verification team members or corporate department teams to ensure service levels are being met for optimal user satisfaction, and adherence to best practices and government regulations. * Verify and audit background check account set up with background check vendors. * Interact with multiple internal departments and background check vendors specific to package order, billing and invoicing. * Cross departmental training of background check processes and regulations. * Document and maintain tasks specific to the rules as related to background check orders, billing and invoicing. * Submit to management for consideration all functional and system requirements to improve efficiencies. * Create and manage process documentation for the data entry Background Checks department process as well as including training materials for internal and external staff, i.e., how to read reports, vendor set up.
* High school diploma or equivalent experience required. Prefer some college experience. * 1+ years' internal corporate process contract experience. * Customer service experience in a corporate environment preferred. * Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel and Word). * Ability to learn new systems and applications quickly. * Excellent oral/written communication skills. * Demonstrated time management skills. * Understanding of customer service and/or technical support service. * Strong interpersonal skills that will enable this position to work well with key stake holders; team organization skills. * Ability to interact and communicate with customers of varying levels of expertise. * Ability to communicate complex technical information to less-technical users. * Ability to communicate in-depth business processes to technical resources.
