Privacy and security are central to everything we do at Facebook. The legal department works towards developing practices and procedures that ensure the personal information of our users is safe, secure, and used in accordance with their sharing settings and choices. To help us with our objectives, Facebook is seeking a talented, self-motivated individual fascinated by complex projects, who thrives in fast-paced environments and can seamlessly drive success working with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to accomplish bold things. This is a full-time position.

In this role, you will help develop and execute a global privacy program with a focus on compliance and incident response. The Privacy Compliance Manager for Incident Response will play a critical role in advancing Facebook's commitment to data privacy and security. In doing so, you will assist in managing our incident response process and compliance with state, federal and global privacy regulations, while applying leading practices to our most critical privacy projects, which impacts our monitoring, assurance, testing, training and awareness initiatives across Facebook.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Conduct investigations to include intake, triage, and documentation of privacy and security events and incidents



Help develop robust tracking processes to ensure ability to demonstrate compliance

Document and maintain incident reports (internal and external) and incident risk analysis

Lead cross-functional incident response meetings

Support development and management of internal privacy and data protection safeguards related to incident management

Communicate privacy and data protection decisions to the broader cross-functional teams, and help ensure those decisions are properly implemented

Build relationships and collaborate within cross-functional teams to resolve privacy issues

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* B.A. or B.S. degree



4+ years of experience in data privacy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Privacy and data protection, information technology/information security experience



Experience with emerging technologies and devices

Knowledge of Facebook products

Consulting or advisory experience on privacy matters

Privacy certification (e.g. CIPP or CIPM or similar)
