What You'll Work On:

Fitbit is seeking a Principal Visual Designer to help set the vision for the Fitbit Design System. They will be crucial in driving the visual style while helping unify the creative direction and visual language of Fitbit across all platforms.

In this role, you will be a part of envisioning a product and system that guides and supports our users on their health and wellness journey. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring other designers, as well as working with our leadership team to evangelize design both inside and outside of Fitbit.

As part of our UX design team, you will be expected to tackle complex problems with brilliant solutions. You will design ground-breaking, yet accessible products and experiences for millions of people.

Qualifications:

* 10+ years experience designing for digital products
* Experience designing Design Systems
* Experience driving product development through design, leading projects and mentoring other designers
* Experience in user-centered design methods, exploration, storytelling
* Empathetic and inquisitive nature
* A burning desire to solve problems ranging from big picture strategy to the fine details
* Experience launching native mobile app products working closely with product management and engineering teams
* Understanding of behavior change models
* A positive attitude, open mind, and a desire to collaborate and learn
* Experience with digital consumer health products is a plus
