The Rolling Meadows Software and Digital Technologies (SWDT) Organization is searching for a qualified candidate involved with complex tool development in both Windows and Linux environments and automated test frameworks. The teams are responsible for developing cutting edge aircraft survivability systems. This is a technical position within the Frameworks team of the SWDT organization.

The Frameworks team is responsible for the provision of an automated test framework that supports verification of our products. It involves the development and maintenance of the eco-system of tools and products required to validate not only software development, but hardware/software integration and system performance within a lab environment. Performing support activities in a Systems Integration Lab (SIL) and/or Flight event. Supporting integration events with customers. Provide demonstrations to internal and/or external customers.

Candidate may be considered for either Principal or Sr. Principal level.

MSRMM

Basic Qualifications:

Principal Software Engineer

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Related Engineering field.
* BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience or a Master's degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
* Experience with development/implementation of Lower level driver protocols.
* Experience with implementing network protocols such as AMQP, rabbitmq and zeromq.
* Programming experience in both low level and high level languages (C , Java, C# and Python).
* US Citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Sr. Principal Software Engineer

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Related Engineering field.
* BS degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant professional work experience or a Master's degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
* Experience with development/implementation of Lower level driver protocols.
* Experience with implementing network protocols such as AMQP, rabbitmq and zeromq.
* Programming experience in both low level and high level languages (C , Java, C# and Python).
* US Citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Development/Implementation of lower level driver protocols such as ARINC-818, hotlink and 1553.
* Familiarity with CPU/GPU load sharing techniques
* Familiarity with video processing
* Linux and Windows operating systems
* Active Secret Security Clearance
