Advertising is one of the hottest growing areas at Amazon. Our Demand Side Platform (DSP) is becoming increasingly popular with major advertisers worldwide and is competing head-to-head with the big players in the space. We believe we understand e-commerce advertising better than anybody else and want to turn it into a science of its own that all advertisers can leverage for their programmatic advertising.
We are looking for a Principal Solutions Architect to own and drive enterprise engagements with our agency and advertiser clients. The Solutions Architect will provide expert consultation in integrating our growing programmatic product suite for the best client solutions. The candidate will manage the most complex integration projects and will be an expert in ad tech. Technical enough to deep dive advanced engineering problems and able to communicate these concepts and best practices to both technical and non-technical clients, this person will be a critical resource in our Services organization.
The successful candidate will:
* Navigate a high level of ambiguity. You love whitespace, identifying key problems to solve on behalf of customers, and the simplifying into a solution * Have great communication skills. You can interact and relate to everyone from C-level executives to engineers and quickly earn their trust * Be an expert in ad tech - DMPs, DSPs, marketing clouds, ad verification, ad servers, measurement, or all of the above * Be a technical expert, with solid business judgment. You obsess over the customer's desired business outcome, understand the underlying business problems they need to solve, then work backwards to architect the right solution to solve those problems.
