The Microsoft Search, Assistant and Intelligence organization is looking for a talented software engineering manager who are passionate about making a real impact on millions of people. You would work in an exciting and fast-paced environment, collaborating with scientists and engineers in multiple product teams and others across the company, including Microsoft Research (MSR). By analyzing and learning from massive data you will improve the productivity of users around the globe by providing the right information at their fingertip in the right context, by making complex tasks faster, easier and more delightful. You will work as part of a team that brings together talents in the areas of big data, software engineering, machine learning, natural language processing, information retrieval, and trustworthy computing. Required qualifications for this position include:

* 8+ years of experiences in software/service product development
* 2+ years of experiences in people and project management with strong technical leadership
* Strong cross-team collaboration experience
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and great team work skills

Highly Desirable:

* Experience in AI/ML/NLP is a big plus
* Experience in large scale data mining and cloud computing
* Familiarity with big data framework, and parallel/ distributed processing such as Hadoop/Spark/ Dryad/Scope
