The Core Commerce Platform Payment & Settlement team builds services enables the payment capability - processing payment transactions, managing payment method and reconciliation across multiple Microsoft key businesses: XBOX, Microsoft Store, Office 365, Azure. The whole payment stack continuous expanding its footprint in around 200+ counties globally.

Required Qualifications:

* 10+ years of relevant software design and development experience on the distributed system or service application
* 10+ years of working with C# or Java or any language to build service
* A BS/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

* Passionate, interested in building a highly scalable distributed system
* Previous experience with service/cybersecurity
* Previous experience with E-Commerce or Payment related area
* Strong troubleshooting skills and experience on service products
* Experience with Microsoft web service stack like C#, .NET. IIS, Azure Services
* Solid experience with SQL/Non-SQL tech and high availability database design
* Experience to work in an agile development team

As engineering of our team you are responsible for designing and implementing both online service, offline jobs for various payment-related features to fulfill customers' needs and to use big data processing pipeline to driven next innovation by data-driven methodology. You need to have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to working with challenging production issues. You will get the opportunity to work with various partner teams including business & program management team to deliver innovative solutions to improve customers payment experience in various Microsoft E-Commerce portals. What you built will impact millions of customers.
