Job Description

The Microsoft Intune team delivers mobile device management, mobile application management and desktop computer management solutions from the Azure cloud. Using Intune, organizations can securely provide employees with access to corporate applications, data and resources from virtually anywhere, on most platforms including Windows, iOS, and Android. Intune is part of the Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS), which is one of the fastest growing enterprise services within Microsoft.

Basic Qualifications:

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field

7+ years of professional software development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience writing code in Java, C#, or other object-oriented programming language
* Strong coding, debugging and problem solving skills
* Strong knowledge of object oriented programming language paradigms
* Great communication skills to collaborate cross-group and work effectively within the team
* Expertise in relational databases, distributed systems and/or big data technologies
* Experience in developing large scale services

We are a group of supportive team players, working on critical and strategic projects involving high-performance design, coding, debugging and optimization work in a fast-paced agile development environment. Our team owns some of the core app services in Intune which are used by many other services to compute and distribute the payloads at large scale for customers. We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about design and implementation of large scale distributed services. Additionally, you will be part of a fun team with diverse interests and backgrounds in a supportive environment. You will be exposed to a broad range of problems and technologies as we're Scrum-focused and rapidly evolving our service architecture to capture an even greater range of devices, reach even higher scale, and leverage Microsoft's cloud services assets like Azure.
