Principal Software Engineer

You will:

* Serve as a technical lead for our iOS-based applications
* Drive best engineering practices within your team(s)
* Be an internal champion for continuously improving team working processes, code quality, and tools and technology adoption
* Contribute to the vision and long-term engineering strategy
* Participate in peer code reviews and technical meetings
* Contribute to project planning and estimates
* Mentor less experienced engineers in good coding and documentation practices

You have:

* BS degree in Computer Science (or related field) or 13+ years of experience in software development
* 10+ years of experience in software design & development
* 7+ years of experience using Objective-C as a professional iOS Software Engineer
* 1+ years of experience using React Native, Ionic, Cordova, or related framework
* 3+ years of experience working on consumer facing mobile applications published in Apple App Store
* Strong knowledge of iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
* Strong familiarity with mobile engineering challenges including performance and memory management concepts
* Experience in mentoring and supporting peers across engineering teams, fostering best engineering practices
* Knowledge of the open-source iOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

* Experience with Android (Java/Kotlin)
* Experience with Apple Watch
* Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Experience with C#, Asp.Net (Core even better!)
