Northrop Grumman Technology Services (TS) sector is seeking a .Net Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future for our Treasury customer. This position is physically located in Washington, DC and allows for partial to full telework. The candidate will directly interface with our customer to deliver .Net development support for their customized Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Data Insight Portal.

The candidate's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to, technical design and development, product development and analysis activities in support of application enhancements and defects, unit testing, preparing detailed technical design documentation, conducting technical design walkthroughs, conducting peer reviews, and complying with configuration management practices and established development standards.

Other primary responsibilities include supporting the deployment of each release to DR, UAT, Test, and Production, identify improvement areas and collaborate with the staff to implement updates as appropriate, improve application security related to login activities and any open POAMs items, correct and improve report mechanism issues related to report subscriptions, provide general enhancements enabling versioning and content changes, deliver UI enhancement (graphic enhancements), provide data model enhancement (data model supporting reports), and review, refine, and improve SSO.

Candidates will be working closely with Government and other subcontractor personnel on a daily basis.

This requisition may be filled at a higher level based on candidate qualifications.

Basic Qualifications for Principal:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field with 5 years of technical experience; four (4) additional years of relevant experience can be substituted for a degree



Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field with 5 years of technical experience; four (4) additional years of relevant experience can be substituted for a degree



Basic Qualifications for both levels:

* 5 years of .Net development experience in analysis, design, and development


* Strong understanding of Single Sign On (SSO) concepts and technologies


* Strong understanding of SAML


* Must have strong organization and excellent communication (written and oral) skills


* Must be capable of independently managing time and multiple tasks with minimal guidance from senior technical staff


* Participates in an on-call rotation for handling problems outside of working hours


* Must be available to provide scheduled and ad hoc evening and weekend support


* Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation


* Must be a U.S. Citizen

* SQL Server Reporting Services Custom Security (forms authentication)

* 1 years of US Federal Government HR systems experience


* Strong SQL skills


* Experience working within an Agile framework
