Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

The LCM Release Engineering & Operations team is seeking hands-on technologists to fill a key role in supporting the entire LCM development organization. As a software engineer in our team, you will be responsible for building, testing, releasing and supporting tools and automation that are crucial to LCM development. You will work together with our team to help improve, maintain, and troubleshoot our build system. You will also help guide the development organization in using best practices and will participate in driving the effort to move to a continuous integration/continuous delivery model using Jenkins and Artifactory. As a member of LCM, you will have a major impact on Oracle's business by transforming how Oracle's SaaS/Cloud applications are delivered and maintained for enterprises.

Job Requirements:

* BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
* 5 years experience in software development.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable in CI/CD and DevOps work styles.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

* Knowledge of Linux, Perl, Gradle, Ant, Ivy, Jenkins, GIT, and Artifactory
* Solid software design skills.
