Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

This opportunity is within a team that is developing an Engagement Platform that interfaces Sales with the Solution Engineering Organization. This will be a mission critical and high usage service that will used by thousands of users (Sales rep, Solution engineers).

We are looking for a Principal Java programmer that can do full stack development. You should have experience in building both backend systems and front-end JavaScript based UI. You should have experience building REST API and integrating with other services. The ideal candidate will be technically strong and have an understanding of large-scale distributed systems (cloud-based environments). In addition, you will have some experience of taking a new major feature from start to release. We are looking for an excellent technical contributor to our team.

Preferred Technologies:

J2EE, Jersey, Springboot, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JS technologies (jquery, knockout, ReactJS), Jenkins/Hudson, Git, TestNG/junit

Qualifications:

* A bachelors/Masters degree in computer science


* 8-12 years engineering experience in a software development environment


* Experience developing front end using Javascript frameworks and understanding of Microservices architecture


* Understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development


* Experience in building automated unit test cases


* Experience working in an agile developer team environment


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
