The Azure Industrial IoT team is building an Industrial IoT platform and our customers are everyone in the discrete and process manufacturing space, from small to medium size business all the way up to Fortune 100 companies.

The Azure Industrial IoT team is looking for highly motivated and talented engineering leaders to empower our customers to design and build solutions on our platform and enabling them to connect machines seamlessly to the Azure Cloud.

Required Qualifications:

* BS/BA in Computer Science
* 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Proven experience in industrial automation technologies
* Experience with Open Source development and best practices
* Embedded Windows and/or Linux development
* Solid coding skills in C and C#
* Solid understanding of computer architecture and OS internals
* Computer networking and security (i.e. TCP/IP, TLS, SSL)
* Performance Analysis and Optimization
* Excellent technical design, problem solving, debugging and communication skills
* Demonstrated experience in shipping high quality products
* Performance appraisals and career planning guidance

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
