Job Description

This position is for the support of all programs as they relate to all applicable classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: supporting fast-paced, high profile programs; create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Experience and knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC etc.). Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor's access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and related briefings. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Working knowledge of NISPOM and applicable government documents.

Basic Qualifications:

6 Years directly related experience with Bachelors; or 4 Years with Masters; experience accepted in lieu of degree; experience to include Industrial Security.

Current Active Secret clearance w/ ability to obtain Top Secret.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree.

Active Top Secret Clearance.

Manage contracts (DD 254) and Personnel Security.Prepares and reviews security plans and lead or conduct inspections, audits, self-assessments, and other work activities related to physical and personnel security.

Maintain compliance records and/or corrective action plans.

Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations.

Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance.

Experience with Visitor Control to include incoming and outgoing International visits.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Experience writing, maintaining and interpreting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Security Plans, CONOPS, etc.

Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Proactive and possesses excellent problem solving and organizational skills.

Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to make sound decisions.
