Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking System Engineers for our Azusa, CA facility!

Successful candidate will support the technical planning, system integration, and requirements verification and validation, and data analysis on a number of space based infrared (IR) payload systems. Tasks will range from performing early payload design and requirements development to analyses at levels ranging from thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing to early-orbit test (EOT) data to support the successful transition of payload into operations. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of related engineering experience, or (STEM) Master's degree with 3 years of experience.


* MS Office Experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)


* Current and active DoD Secret Clearance



Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience and knowledge of Rationale DOORS
