NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Principal Engineer - Java/Jasper to join our team in Austin, TX. Candidates local to Austin, TX are strongly preferred.

The individual will be responsible for the following:

* Provide technical guidance (code level) to the scrum teams; act as SME and owner of codebase for the corresponding technology
* Review code and ensure adherence to standards
* Collaborate with architects in design and suggest practical improvements
* Ensure smooth transition of enabler deliverables (code level) to scrum teams
* Oversee continuous improvement of codebase from stability, supportability and extensibility point of view
* Write prototype code as needed

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years work experience with Jaspersoft-Jasper

Minimum of 5 years work experience with Oracle BPM Process design

Minimum of 5 years work experience as a Java Technical Lead

Preferred skills:

* Spring is needed
* Experience with Reporting Frameworks that integrate well with Java based application (Jaspersoft, BIRT etc.)
* Experience with Workflow frameworks that integrate well with Java based application (JBPM, Activiti etc.)


* Experience with Authorization frameworks that integrate well with Java based application (Shiro, Spring Security, JAAS etc.)
