We are looking for the right fit to work as delivery manager over our open source database managed service. Position will provide oversight, governance and direction of managed services related to open source database platforms. Platforms include PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB. We are going through a cloud transformation where open source is a major driver. Position will guide our managed service provider in supporting the transformation of existing system from our legacy database systems to the Google Cloud Platform along with application transformation while ensuring availability of the legacy systems.

Job Requirements

What's expected:

* Proficient and comfortable working in a Linux environment
* Extensive DBA or DBA management experience
* Proficient in PostgreSQL and MySQL
* Strong desire to learn/use cloud centric tools and processes

Job Duties

* Managing to SLAs and tracking KPIs the managed service provider
* Define, adjust and evolved KPIs into SLAs along with new KPIs where needed
* Oversee DBA responsibilities on critical projects
* Provide leadership for database related critical projects
* Ensure database availability, security and compliance goals are supported and achieved
* Troubleshoot and problem solve alongside other engineers and designers to offer the best possible outcome
* Providing liaison and relationship management between CoreLogic business lines and the managed services vendor

Education:

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
