About the Opportunity
As a data infrastructure engineer at Moat, you would be responsible for developing and maintaining all of the systems that provide data storage services to internal teams.
You would be an integral part of the team that owns the data storage services themselves (such as databases, caches and other types of storage) as well as the monitoring and alerting tools that keep them running smoothly. These systems manage huge datasets that grow daily as they aggregate billions of events delivered by the Data Pipeline team.
You will strike a balance between writing code, deploying and maintaining services, making architecture decisions, mentoring and supporting other team members and reviewing their work. You will be responsible for delivering on engineering goals, ensuring reliability and quality in the products you release, and working cross-functionally with other engineering and product teams.
