Job Description

This is a new position is responsible for financial

management activities related to the Public Cloud Infrastructure and Technology

strategic initiatives that will migrate AT&T workloads to public

cloud. The role requires financial acumen to develop a business

case model, manage the financial tracking for the program, manage the cloud

service provider funding and ensure business case financials are achieved

against strategic objectives. This position is part of a Public

Cloud Program Office that will grow to manage up to 100 simultaneous work

efforts across multiple cloud service providers. It is imperative this

role fosters the associated change in culture necessary for the shift to cloud

implementation and ensures that financial policy changes are made. This

position will help identify and select the best migration candidates, manage

the cloud service provider funding and track the financial results. The

position must work closely with internal AT&T organization such as Supply

Chain, Finance, Technology Development, Technology Architecture, Security and

client application organizations in addition to external cloud service

providers to ensure business cases, planning and funding are in place before

tactical execution occurs.

Primary Responsibilities include:

1. Creation of a Financial Management Plan and associated

artifacts to support Public Cloud technology and ongoing program financial

management.

2. Collaborate with Finance on a financial methodology

for appropriately pro-rating the public cloud charges to the appropriate

applications including a business case template for applications to use in

their analysis.

3. Ongoing financial analysis activities to collect

data and perform analysis to identify opportunities to reduce cost through

migration of AT&T workloads to Public Cloud Providers.

4. Partner with other AT&T Financial teams to ensure an

overall view is provided of the Public Cloud savings and consuming any

associated changes in templates, tools and processes.

economic analyses and models
