Job Description

DUTIES: Duties:

Build, expand, and maintain the advanced analytics engine data

environment by utilizing the latest technologies and expansive datasets. Support the analytics engine environment and

data, evolving the frequency of refreshes to near-real-time data availability.

Audit data and conduct reporting to ensure the accuracy of the data used for

analysis. Implement new data sources to enhance the capabilities of the team.

Conduct exploration, evaluation, and delivery of new technologies, techniques,

and tools to advance the capabilities of the team. Perform Data Engineering

process and build Extract Transform and Load (ETL) jobs to create the data sets

and facilitate presentations to clients through data visualization tools.

Utilize new visualization techniques to push data insights further into the

business organization. Collect, explore, and identify the right data to be

analyzed from internal and external sources to explain or predict behavior and

solve a variety of business problems and monetize products for sale. Interact

with business stakeholders and users to understand business requirements.

Design, Develop and Build predictive models using traditional to

newly-developing within the Big-Data space like Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop and Shell

scripting. Extract data from various source, process it and load into

Relational database. Perform Unit/Integration Testing. Test the code, deploy it

into production environment. Schedule the jobs using scheduling tools like

Tivoli, Autosys. Provide production support to the daily, weekly and monthly

running jobs and fix production issues. Advise business partners with regards

to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or

outcomes.Use Teradata, Oracle, Shell

Scripting, UNIX, Autosys, Informatica, ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load),

Hadoop technologies to build the advanced analytics platform.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree

in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering and 5 years of progressive,

post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive,

post-baccalaureate experience using Teradata, Oracle, Shell Scripting, ETL

(Extract, Transform, and Load), Informatica, Autosys, Hadoop; performing

Requirements Gathering, Analysis, and Unit/Integration Testing; and providing

Production Support.
