Here's what you should know if you want to be a Senior Systems Engineer at R/GA:

On any given day you might

* Writing PowerShell scripts to manage Active Directory, VMware via PowerCLI, various servers and services, and automate repetitive tasks. You'll need to be able to create RESTful APIs as well as leverage 3rd party APIs for deep integration.
* Manage our o365 tenancy, including licensing and troubleshooting
* Training and mentoring desktop support staff, so that they're confident in managing shared mailboxes, AD groups, distribution lists, licenses, and other day to day tasks, as well as doing some of these things yourself, as needed.
* Being the backup devOps engineer supporting a .Net HR-Ops, business intelligence application and its respective MSSQL databases.
* Providing Tier 3 support as final escalation point for various issues.
* Working as part of a small team to efficiently resolve global issues, implement new systems, and build and support new infrastructure.
* You'll help conduct security audits (SOX, SOC2, HIPAA), and working with external audit teams to validate compliance.
* Work in Azure and AWS, as needed to assist our Windows DevOps admin.
* Train and mentor desktop support so that they're confident in managing shared mailboxes, groups, distribution lists, licenses, and other day to day tasks, as well as doing some of these things yourself, as needed.

You bring

* 7+ years of experience in senior engineering positions
* Experience supporting Windows and Macintosh computers in a corporate WAN environment, including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops and Operating Systems (OS X and Windows 7-10) printers, peripherals, network protocols, etc.
* Strong PowerShell scripting skills. Ability to create scripts from scratch.
* Extensive experience in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
* In addition to PowerShell, having broad scripting skills would be great; maybe PERL, Python, shell scripting; any or all. We realize people may focus on one particular language, but we hope you'd be open to learning and using more as needed.
* Advanced knowledge of managing and troubleshooting VMware vSphere clusters
* Your experience managing backup systems.
* Flexibility to be on call
