Job Description

The Mellon Computer Science Postdoctoral Fellow, based in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, will be a key player in the intellectual and technical development of the Open Islamicate Texts Initiative (OpenITI) Arabic-script OCR Catalyst Project (AOCP) and in the larger research program in digital humanities and natural language processing at Northeastern's NULab for Texts, Maps, and Networks. The initial appointment will be for 12 months, renewable for a second year, beginning August 1, 2019, (or later, by mutual agreement) and ending on or after July 31, 2021.
