We are seeking a self-motivated research fellow eager to learn new skills and interested in collaborating on projects that integrates PET and MRI in a dynamic research environment with a mentorship team at the A.A. Martinos Center and the Healey Center for ALS. The successful candid
ate will join research projects that include simultaneous PET-MR imaging in individuals with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and other motor neuron diseases.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in data analysis with PET and/or morphometry MRI, resting state MRI, functional connectivity MRI, and diffusion MRI. Proficiency in scripting is strongly desired and a background in PET kinetic modeling will be considered an advantage.

* PhD in neuroscience, computer science, biomedical engineering, or related fields * Interest in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and other neurological diseases * Expertise with neuroimaging software (e.g. FSL, SPM, FreeSurfer) * Previous experience with PET or MRI data analysis * Experience with Linux, Matlab,and/or Python or related languages * Interest in multi-modal imaging and in combining MR and PET * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Successful applicants will have a track record of productive research and publications
