Job Description

Makosi does Project Work. We provide operational and change related project staffing to deliverable based project execution and consulting services. Our clients include some of the largest banks, brokerages, asset managers and hedge funds globally.

We are seeking to hire Project Managers, Business Analysts and PMOs with experience in Regulatory Change, Operational Excellence, System Implementation, Decomission. Candidates should have an excellent understanding of Project Management lifecycle/methodologies and ideally be certified in Six Sigma, PMP or Prince2. Candidates who are strong in applications such as Excel, Visio and MS Project will be considered favorably. Soft skills that are critical include a strong sense of accountability and ownership, high levels of motivation, and an ability to build strong working relationships and influence positive outcomes

Daily duties will include:

* Maintain project plans, issues logs, test plans, and formal documentation for stakeholder meetings.
* Present deliverables, risks, issues and status to senior stakeholders and managers.
* Interact & partner with various operational dependent constituents such as IT, business analysts/leaders, SME's & other stakeholders
* Coordinate with business end-users, infrastructure and IT groups for communication, project definition and ensure milestones and project information (such as risks and issues) are collated/reported and goals of assigned projects are met.
* Coordinate dependencies, critical path items and resource allocations across projects
* Identify, coordinate and manage project resources and resource assignments

Required Qualifications

* Project Management experience, preferably Six Sigma, PMP or Prince2 certified
* Strong technical skills including MS Project, Visio, and advanced Excel
* Good understanding of the evolving regulatory environment and its challenges
* Ability to assimilate, translate and communicate business concepts and requirements
