ITT's Control Technologies, headquartered in Valencia, Calif., provides fuel management, actuation, noise abatement, composite and metal ducting, and vibration isolation components to the aerospace industry and customized and standard products for precision motion control, energy absorption and vibration isolation for industrial markets.

The PLM Specialist will provide the Engineering Department with support with PTC Windchill. They will be responsible for maintaining and updating Engineering and Configuration Management methodology as well as facilitating training for current and new users. Additionally, the PLM Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting issues with Windchill and making any necessary adjustments. The specialist will also be responsible for managing large scale PLM administration and projects and ongoing PLM innovation.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Define and document engineering processes using standard digital tools
* Provide PLM database support
* Provide support to Users with regards to troubleshooting and customization of PTC Windchill Facilitating end user training
* Assist in PTC Windchill application support
* Responsible for leading technical aspects of large scale projects.
* Responsible for innovation within PTC Windchill

Skills and Experience

Requirements & Skills:

* Education: Bachelor's degree. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
* Experience: 3-5 years of PLM administration experience (Windchill preferred);
* Help Desk/application support experience preferred;
* Good planning and organizational skills;
* Excellent oral and written communication skills;
* Good problem solving skills.
* Computer Skill: MS Office Suite â , MS Windows â . PTC Windchill preferred. Drafting or CAD experience is useful
* Basic to intermediate Excel and Java programming skills
* Change Management certification a plus
