DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

* Individual contributor that develops, writes and debugs code for video game software and tools with a specific focus on engine programming for rendering and various other systems as required.
* Designs, develops, writes, tests, and implements code and shaders in HLSL and GLSL
* Writes clear, maintainable, portable code
* Writes documentation for other programmers' use
* Anticipates, identifies and articulates problem areas and develops preventative solutions
* Participates in providing feedback for the work of other Engineers

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

* Prior experience working on physics and simulation systems for AAA video games required
* Experience implementing and debugging physics solvers and computing contact resolutions
* 5 years of experience preferred
* Effective organization, analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong understanding of 3D math and physics
* Be familiar and have experience with collision and collision acceleration structures and algorithms
* Professional experience in programming C/C and C#
* Background in object-oriented design and software engineering methodologies
* Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with rapidly changing requirement, with a focus on quality is a must
* Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required, or specific experience video game programming. Advanced degree preferred.
