Position Summary:

Magento, an Adobe company, is looking for talented engineers who want to improve the customer experience within the Magento eCommerce platform. The challenge is to have a deep understanding of the entire Magento product and identify any issues or bugs from the environment to custom code.

What you will do:

Our product and engineering team practices iterative development and continuous deployment. We work in small teams, deploy dozens of times a day, and keep our projects short and focused. Engineers rotate between projects and areas of the product to learn and take on new challenges. As a member of the Magento Customer Support Engineering Organization team, you can expect to:

* Maintain projects based on Magento
* Debug Magento projects
* Troubleshoot on the live servers to identify a cause of the issue
* Participate in peer Code reviews
* Participate fully in all agile activities

What you need to succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

* 3 years' experience in web-development
* Excellent knowledge of PHP7
* Object-oriented programming
* Experience with SQL (MySQL)
* Experience with Unix Systems
* Experience with Version Control Systems (Git)
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent



Preferred Qualifications:

* HTML, CSS, JavaScript
* Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery & Plugins
* Familiarity with Agile/Kanban
