Job Description

Looking to hire a Pega Lead Business Architect. The ideal candidate must have experience in gathering requirements as well as designing and implementing BPM systems on a large scale while applying modern agile and SAFe/OSAM practices to the solution development process from project definition through operational rollout. The primary function of this role will be to work with the Lead System Architect and the business Product Owner to define business digital process automation requirements and solutions utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Serves as a BPM and Pega leader/mentor on best practices including methods and product capabilities and features.
* Facilitate/lead/participate in identification of strategic solution options.
* Ensure alignment of solutions with business and IT goals/objectives.
* Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them.
* Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions through complex conceptual analyses with attention to detail.
* Facilitates change and process improvement within software development and business organizations.
* Demonstrate strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving enterprise recommendations and ensuring adherence to established standards and practices, including the development of standards and practices where they may not yet exist.
* Supports, facilitates and leads agile transformation with Product Owner, SMEs and development team as appropriate.
* Guides Product Owner to focus on capability, feature and user story identification ensuring proper documentation and representation in Agile Central.
* Maintains strong relationship with Lead System Architect (LSA) to ensure business solutioning and engineering is optimally utilizing out-of-the-box product capabilities.
* Maintains strong relationship with scrum master to collaborate on agile ceremonies, methods, tools and metrics.
* Use proven communication skills to collaborate with the business, including Product Owners, SMEs and executives to understand/influence business requirements.
* Communicate solution options to business owners/stakeholders (e.g. architecture reviews).
* Facilitates open communication and fact-based decision making.
* Demonstrates ownership and accountability of project requirements and solution definition artifacts throughout the project lifecycle.
* Identify and quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems.
* Demonstrate understanding of cross-functional/cross-domain requirements and impact.
* Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving business problems.
* Collaborates with LSA and Product Owner to approve deviations from standards.
* Deliver all project deliverables on scope, on time and on budget.
* Lead functional teams or projects.
* Work closely with QA team, providing guidance and support and has understanding of test automation.
* Motivates and inspires other team members.
* Demonstrates positive team thinking and effective time management.

Required Qualifications:

* Undergraduate degree or relevant experience
* A minimum of 3 years of Pega and Business Process Management (BPM) experience.
* Certified Pega Business Architect and/or Certified System Architect.
* A minimum of 8 year experience in working with a variety of software design and development environments.
* Professional Services Client consulting style with a collaborative team focus, strong listening, oral and written communication skills to business and technical roles including group facilitation.
* Experience leading collaboration of business and IT to evaluate business goals, identify business problems and propose solutions.
* Proven planning and project management skills.
* Change management, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness skills.
* Experience supporting high-volume transaction processing systems supporting the operational workflows of business partners.
