SHULTZ STEEL COMPANY has been in business since 1947 and is located in the greater Los Angeles California area. It employs about 450 people. It was acquired by PCC in 2016. Shultz Steel Company produces large structural die forgings and rolled rings primarily for the aerospace industry out of alloy steel, titanium, aluminum and nickel alloys. It is a vertically integrated facility.

The Oracle Project Manager role is a key member of the Information Technology (IT) Team providing project coordination and communication services for IT projects to internal and external stakeholders. Individual works with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and conclude major projects. The project manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Responsibilities:

* Support the project collaboration and documentation archival site on MS SharePoint/Project Management System
* Facilitate recurring meetings between IT Team and customer(s) to communicate status of projects, assign new projects, and resolve open management issues
* Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
* Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
* Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
* Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
* Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
* Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
* Track project milestones and deliverables
* Create and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
* Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
* Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
* Support project teams and ensure utilization the project management standards

Job Requirements

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience Required; Technology Field Preferred
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Project Management
* Experience implementing Oracle EBS as a PM and project team member
* Minimum 5 years' experience in information technology industry
* Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management certification
* Advanced skills in creating Business Requirements, Project Plans, Project Schedules and associated project materials
* Managing full lifecycle Oracle EBS software implementation projects as Project Manager and Project Team member.
* Acting as SME for all project tasks and deliverables
* Leading requirements gathering workshops and global design sessions
* Leading fit/gap analysis and document alternative solutions
* Collaborating with technical resources in creating integration mapping documents
* Leading scenario definition tasks, proof-of-concept configuration and testing tasks
* Configuring Oracle EBS Solution based on the design
* Supervising testing and training activities
* Key resource for troubleshooting issues
* Training client resources in product functionality
* A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key initiatives concurrently
* Advanced knowledge in WaterFall, SCRUM, and Agile project management methodologies
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership and strategic influencing skills, the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and effectively provide guidance to others (e.g. project managers) in a high pressure, time intensive work environment; and, have a thorough knowledge of all phases of PMI life cycle
* Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
* Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
* Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines and elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments

Work Location(s): East Coast or West Coast or Houston area

Travel Requirements: 85% to Plant sites Regional Client Sites going through implementations

US Citizenship or Perm Residency is required due to government military contracts.
