JOB DESCRIPTION

The IT System Analyst will be the technical resource supporting Inogen Finance/Accounting and Operations Teams. This position will work closely with Business Stakeholders to analyze and resolve problems associated with current applications. The IT Systems Analyst will apply the domain specific technical knowledge to evaluate, analyze, develop and or enhance complex application programs so that it will meet the needs of the Business Stakeholders.

Key Competencies:

* Defining, architecting and re-engineering technical solutions around finance applications.
* Present proposed solutions to business stakeholders and management.
* Translate Inogen business requirements into technical designs.
* Perform unit, integrated and functional tests and resolve issues found during testing.
* Create technical design documents from Inogen business requirements.
* Develop and monitor interfaces with third party systems.
* Troubleshoot and debug applications systems, reports and interfaces.
* Support and assist end users in the use of the Inogen business applications.
* Seek assistance from, and lead teams of application system vendor-partners to resolve support issues.
* Confers with Business Stakeholders involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports.
* Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
* Studies existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or workflow.
* Plans and prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development.
* Upgrades system and corrects errors to maintain system after implementation.
* Develop new and or enhance existing EBS modules related reports, forms and interfaces.
* Develop adhoc scripts to support data fixes requested.
* Work directly with Oracle Customer Support to resolve issues.
* Support subledger month end, year-end close related technical tasks.
* Developing reports using FSG and Discoverer or equivalent analytical tools.

Do you possess these abilities?

* Possess strong communication and training skills and be able to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
* Knowledge of APICS best practices and processes and translating the processes into functional and technical system requirements (Required)
* Understanding and exposure of dataflow within Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.1.3 or higher
* Experience with developing solution designs from business requirements.
* Understanding of skills in Java/J2EE, Web Services, SOA, PL/SQL, XML.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Keen attention to detail.
* Outstanding teamwork.
* A great desire to learn new skills and technologies.
* Deep and broad experience with using, configuring and developing within Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.1.3 or higher versions, specifically in the following modules: Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Asset tracking, Intercompany Transactions, Cost Management and Incentive Compensation.

Requirements:

* A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or equivalent, required.
* 5+ years administration, technical support, design, development and test experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite, Reports, APIs and interfaces, required.
* Advanced knowledge/proficiency in Business Intelligence, Oracle Reports, Discoverer, Master Data Management and EDI, required.
* 3-5 years' experience in developing third party interfaces, required.
* Oracle certifications, preferred.
* A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Work Conditions:

* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
* Up to 100% of their time will be spent working on the computer, reading, typing, and training/meeting with others.
* This position requires the employee to work from within an Inogen facility.
* This position may require working hours outside 8AM-5PM and may also include hours on Saturday and/or Sunday.
