The systems programmer analyst will be a member of the Currency Administration Systems team, reporting to the project leader. The CA Systems team conducts complex projects of high and medium scope relating to share class hedging, currency hedging, including data integration with internal upstream processes, and external third parties/vendors.
The systems programmer analyst will be the primary systems owner for the business requirements on his/her assigned projects. They will:
Establish and maintain productive working relationships with the business team on FX/Currency Administration and engage them in a dynamic process to clarify and elaborate upon the business requirements they provide, and translate those business requirements into effective systems requirements and functional designs.
Act as the primary subject matter expert within systems for their projects. Address questions about requirements and functional designs raised by the other developers, and translate technical concerns for consideration by the business.
Ensure that the business and systems requirements are tested properly and that defects are identified and tracked. Conduct checkpoint meetings, maintain near term project plans, and communicate status to project participants.
* Design, code, unit and system test any new requirements/change requests prior to UAT. * System testing for any project/enhancements/production issues. * Develop clear, concise methodology documents, CSD and SDLC documents. Etc * Design, development and delivery of effective business applications
* BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related work experience required. * Knowledge of Share Class Hedging/Currency Hedging/Foreign Exchange (FX) or other trading markets is big plus. * Must have at least 5+ years of experience implementing systems and working with Oracle. * Very StrongSQL, PL/SQL, working knowledge is required in Oracle database, must have experience in building complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Functions and understanding, debugging/step thru stored procedures and must understand basic principles of data modeling and should have some modeling experience. * 1+ year of experience working with Java is required. * Must have some experience using some of the version controls like SVN. * Strong Analytical and problem solving skills. * Prior experience with writing CSD/TRD/TDD (Computer Systems Design Doc, Technical Requirement Doc, Technical Design Doc). * Good verbal, written, communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a global team environment.
