Oracle Database Administrator/Engineer

* Clearance: Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph level clearance after hire
* Location: Springfield, VA
* Years of Experience: 11-14 Years
* Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within a related field

Position Overview:

Responsible for the integration, hardening, and maintaining of multiple Oracle databases running within an Exadata architecture. These data bases support specific applications and a DataVault warehouse supporting data analytics. Ensures the performance of the system, understands the platform on which the database runs, and adds new users to Oracle the system. Plans and coordinates security measures including data integrity, backups, and database security. Responsible for capacity planning. Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of database systems. Provides problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Coordinates changes. Responsibilities also include customer requirements, evaluation of alternatives, and development recommendations. The DBA works in concert with assigned system administrator to assure system integrity. Experience supporting the Forcepoint (Raytheon) SureView application and/or IBM Datastage application are desired.

Required Qualifications:

* Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph level clearance after hire
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within a related field
* Oracle DBA with a Linux background and 11 years or more of experience
* DBA experience supporting the Forcepoint (Raytheon) SureView application
* Hands on experience with Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC)
* Hands on experience with Oracle Data Guard replication
* Understands RMAN backup concepts and options
* Logical and physical database design experience
* Proficient at developing SQL scripts to manipulate data
* Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager/Cloud Control

Desired Qualifications:

* Oracle Exadata experience
* Erwin Database Modeler experience
* Data Vault 2.0 familiarity
