Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

Job Description

We are actively growing the DMP strategy team in our SF, NYC, CO or Seattle offices. The Sr. Consultant, DMP Strategy acts as a subject matter expert and is responsible for driving value of Oracle Data Cloud platform products for a defined set of enterprise marketers.

This role will focus on the Oracle Data Management Platform (DMP) and is key to client retention and account development. As the expert on customer goals, customer operations and DMP capabilities, this role will develop and lead a client-specific DMP strategy that drives return on investment throughout the life of the relationship.

This individual should be comfortable consulting and influencing clients, up to the executive level. Success in the position is based on the amount of value DMP customers derive from the solution as measured by customer satisfaction, adoption and ultimately renewal.

Key to this role is the ability articulate the benefits of implementing an audience first planning process via the Oracle DMP. Clients will rely on you to guide them as they use the platform to develop their audience strategy and deliver it across paid media channels, such as display, video and social, and owned channels, such as their website for personalization.

In addition to working with many departments across your client's business, you will collaborate with the most prominent ad agencies, consultancies, publishers, social networks, demand side platforms (DSPs) and other channel partners to ensure success of the DMP program.

This position has a high degree of freedom to independently drive internal and external projects and will be encouraged to leverage previous experience and intellect to support and expand upon the vision of the platform. You will have support and interaction with other Oracle Data Cloud team members across Account Management, Platform Architecture, Product, Engineering, Data Sciences, Data Classification, Marketing and Sales. You will also liaise with teams supporting other products in the Oracle Data Cloud and Oracle Marketing Cloud suites.

Responsibilities

Define key success criteria with the client and build processes to monitor pacing against those goals

* Build and develop relationships with key account stakeholders at all levels within the client organization
* Help clients build a program around the technology by establishing key communication frameworks and processes needed for success
* Evangelize the DMP program and gain "buy-in" from key stakeholders across the client's organization
* Drive use case adoption through roadmap discussions, consulting and best practices
* Develop comprehensive platform training programs and provide ongoing DMP product expertise
* Oversee operational excellence and ensure a seamless experience in the UI
* Position the DMP for ongoing success by frequently highlighting the value prop, identifying & addressing competitive threats and advocating for your client's needs internally
* Collaborate with other ODC teams to develop data-driven marketing strategies through the DMP and expand our relationships and scope throughout the client organization.
* Stay informed of digital marketing news, emerging technologies and competitive offerings

Qualifications

* 4-year undergraduate degree
* Minimum 5 years work experience with at least 3 years in the digital media industry required-be it with a marketer, an agency or an ad tech company
* Data-driven marketing and AdTech experience strongly preferred
* Willing to travel 25% of time
