* Candidates should be open to work out of San Francisco, CA

Position Summary

"Good to have" Skills/Experience:

* Experience in handling Exadata machines
* Experience in R12.2.2 Upgrade

Job responsibilities:

* Must have 10+years of experience with Oracle Apps DBA (R12) functions with R12
* Must have in depth knowledge of Oracle RAC database setup, administration
* Must have a good experience with Data Guard in UNIX/Linux environments
* Must be familiar with Middleware technologies, specifically WebLogic
* Good experience with one or more scripting platforms: Shell Scripting, Perl/Python
* Must have experience of designing and setting up backup, recovery and disaster recovery plan processes and procedures.
* Must have a good experience with R12 configurations, patching, cloning etc.
* Must be a process and detail-oriented individual.
* Must have experience and ability to interact effectively with resources from the functional and technical tracks on the project team.
* Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Must be willing to work off hours when required etc.

Preferred Skills:

Strong commitment to quality

Understanding of the full application life-cycle from inception through maintenance

Solves new and/or familiar problems independently and without introducing regressions

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
