We hire individuals with experience or interest in any of the following:

* Go, Python, C, C++, Javascript, Bash
* Docker and containers
* Mongo, Postgres, SQL, Redis, Elastic
* Linux networking (eBPF and XDP), systems programming, maintenance, and platform security
* Distributed systems
* Modern internet infrastructure operations and automation including Kubernetes, Terraform, Nomad and Ansible
* Application (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, TLS) and networking (BGP, GRE) protocols
* Layer 4-7 load balancing, SDN, mesh networks (Envoy, Istio)
* Meaningful contributions to open source projects
* RESTful APIs and clients
* Modern internet infrastructure operations, including metrics, distributed tracing, logging, automation, etc
* Deployment automation, CI/CD, unit/integration testing
* Traffic load balancing, filtering, and DDoS mitigation tools
* Distributed messaging, persistent DB and caching systems
* Deployment automation, Jenkins CI/CD, unit/integration testing
* Automated test frameworks (BDD, unit tests, etc.)
* Agile software delivery practices

Common roles on our teams include:

* Software engineers for Platform, Integrations, Backend, and Frontend
* Infrastructure engineers for DevOps, TechOps, and Networking
* Quality Analysts, Build, and Test Engineers
* Product Management, Content Strategy, and Technical Program & Project Management

* Our globally distributed platform is comprised of many subsystems including:
* Custom built DNS platform that's deployed on physical hardware
* Anycasted edge network that spans nearly 30 facilities globally
* REST API and Client Portal
* Deployment automation, CI/CD, unit/integration testing
* Monitoring, metrics collection and alerting
* Traffic load balancing, filtering, and DDoS mitigation tools
* Distributed messaging, persistent DB and caching systems
