What you will be doing:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
* Provide support and service to all back office systems and applications * You will research and analyzes programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing to support an organization's application systems. * Provide recommendations for improving processes and procedures * Assist in collecting data and defining user requirements for additional functionality of systems * Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. * Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. * Build custom reports for internal customers * Secure systems by controlling application access * You'll provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques including ability to find root cause and corrective action for given problems * Maintain performance of system by working closely with other teams * Resolve issues through troubleshooting
What we're looking for: Education:
* BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
* 3-5 years of experience in IT; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience * Firm grasp of enterprise applications and strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills * Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute on assigned deliverables and quickly learn new systems and business processes * Shown history of detail-oriented execution and dedication to customer happiness * 2+ years' experience supporting applications preferred * SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services experience * Experience in producing functional requirements materials for information technology systems * Experience translating functional business requirements to technical specifications * Experience developing functional and systems requirements from materials provided by functional SME * Experience working with developers to develop technical requirement from functional requirements * Experience testing applications * Validated writing skills in developing requirements elicitation plans, user acceptance testing plans, and materials, etc. * Experience in configuration of enterprise monitoring systems.
* Experience using Microsoft Office Suite desktop applications
