General Summary

The Operations Support Analyst will be responsible for driving and managing improvements for both internal and external clients. Successful candidates will identify and research opportunities to improve productivity and reduce defects leveraging our various inventory management systems. They will gain an in depth understanding of these systems and assist others with day-to-day use, new implementations, and also enhancements or adapting things to fit the needs of a constantly changing environment. There will also be various reporting and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Use data and reporting to monitor processes, analyze & research issues, and drive improvement opportunities with clients and operations teams.• Become an expert in all aspects of LSI's inventory management systems, and provide others with operational support and guidance.• Must be able to influence remote operational teams without direct oversight of those teams.• Work with business partners to define and test system improvements, and assist in creating training documents about the changes.• Serve as the "voice of the user" by representing the user's perspective.• Extract data and work with it to create reports and perform various administrative tasks.• Become a point of contact, or owner, of one or more processes or pieces of a client relationship, with regular communication via email, phone, and some in-person meetings.• Participate in testing software enhancements for completeness and train LSI and client users on new system features.• Serve as the "voice of the user" by representing the user's perspective throughout the Returns Management system life cycle.• Assist customer support teams, and develop and implement training and communication materials that allow customers to understand the product and changes made to it.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:• Bachelor's degree preferred• Minimum of 3 years operational experienceSkills:• Must be detail-oriented with respect to documentation, follow-up, and communication• Must have a desire for achieving excellence in client satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciling, merging data sets)• Some proficiency with Visio, Power Point and Word• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability: • Ability to express technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing to clients and operations• Strong attention to detail and track record of producing quality work• Team player with great work ethic, and a quick learner• Diplomatic with negotiation and conflict resolution skills• Self-motivated and able to perform without significant supervision

Travel:

Periodic travel required for training and deployment on new software and processes.
