Day to day operational support of the NetApp OCI Application

Ensure operation of the extract, transform, load activities between the OnCommand Insight operational servers and the OnCommand Insight reporting servers

Completing performance reviews and tuning of OnCommand Insight environment

Implementing and testing updated data sources

Fully leveraging OnCommand Insight for operational monitoring / troubleshooting

Custom Report Creation

Configure and manage OnCommand Insight alerts

Implement object-based storage support

Create and deploy OnCommand Insight real-time operational widgets used for troubleshooting / monitoring / filtering of data

Participate in capacity planning activities that supports the Banks capacity utilization objectives

Required:

Candidate must have excellent in-depth knowledge of NetApp OCI product with solid understanding of different data sources, networking protocols.

Should have strong knowledge of SAN, NAS, CAS, fabric-switch technologies and FC, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, SNMP protocols. Also should have good knowledge of cloud based technologies like HCP, ECS, AWS, Azure etc.

Should know how to interpret and report on performance numbers like IOPS, throughput, latency and others.

Should have extensive knowledge of OCI database dictionary and ETL process.

Proficiency with SQL scripting, SQL Server and MySQL database skills, PowerShell scripting, Batch scripting.

Sound knowledge of Rest API Protocol and usage of Rest API within different scripting tools.

Good knowledge of Cognos business intelligence tool.

Working knowledge of Windows servers, IP technologies, Active Directory and deploying OCI product patches.

Desired:

A familiarity with storage support tools such as NetApp WFA, NetApp DFM, EMC Unisphere, EMC Insight IQ, Brocade Network Advisor, Cisco DCNM would be desirable.

Ability to work independently by communicating to different groups in the organization and willingness to guide team members as needed.
