Job Description

The Systems Analyst V - O365 Administrator performs advanced computer systems analysis work. Work for this position involves O365 administration, PowerShell scripting, data analysis and server administration. The work will be performed in a team environment where the individual will script, test, implement and support critical systems in support of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). Applicant will support servers by performing hardware and software support along with assisting with data storage. Applicant will support e-Discovery requests as needed. The individual will work under minimal direction with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Utilizes advanced technical skills to supply scripted automated solutions for simple and complex functionality in the way of deliverables related to the daily operations/maintenance, design and implementation of applications with a wide range of client and agency specific functionality. The applicant will support cross agency business process analysis projects with all HHS agencies. The analyst will be on-call in a 24/7 environment. Essential Job Functions:

* Administrates O365, process e-Discovery requests, writes and maintains custom scripts (15%)
* Develops and maintains procedures, processes, and documentation as related to, and as needed, (15%)
* Investigates, develops and implements solutions for agency issues and requirements (15%)
* Work Helpdesk tickets and troubleshoot email issues (10%)
* Documents results of all testing including reasons for disapprovals when applicable (10%)
* Conducts and participates in intra- and inter-agency automation meetings, technical forums, and IT workgroups/committees (5%)
* Maintains all related installation and configuration parameters (5%)
* Recommends research of hardware and software that may prove beneficial to the agency's mission (5%)
* Communicates directly with agency staff and outsourced vendors to provide guidance regarding installation, troubleshooting and configuration (10%)
* Coordinates posting of instructional documentation for technical and non-technical groups (2%)
* Keeps informed of the latest advancements in IT to ensure the smooth transition of the agency's information technology and business requirements (3%)
* Performs other duties as assigned and required to maintain operations (5%) Knowledge Skills Abilities:

Experience with IronPort or similar email security appliance

Knowledge of SMTP and .Net development

Working knowledge PowerShell scripting

Microsoft Server System Administration, including Office365 and Active Directory

Skill in developing technical documentation

Skill in providing customer service

Ability to simultaneously coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks

Ability to communicate technical information to individuals with various levels of technical knowledge Registration or Licensure Requirements:

Initial Selection Criteria:

* Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer information systems, or management information systems is generally preferred. Education and experience may be substituted for one another
* 2 years of experience in PowerShell scripting
* 2 years of experience in Office365 administration
* 1 year of experience in server hardware and software support
* Must be willing to be on-call in 24/7 environment Additional Information:
