The primary responsibilities of the Networking Manager will be to:

* Participate in office relocations, expansions, and other infrastructure changes
* Assist in the design and development of network implementations
* Perform all required operational maintenance and troubleshooting of supported systems
* Participate in disaster recovery planning, development, exercises and actual events
* Evaluate and test software changes and updates supplied by vendors, prior to installation
* Work with vendors, application developers, database administrators, corporate IT, and other technology groups to resolve any problems
* Conduct routine hardware and software audits of all supported systems to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and requirements
* Report progress to supervisor and project managers, including the preparation of weekly status reports
* Documenting network deployment and maintaining up-to-date network diagrams
* Support, monitor, configure, implement and document current local and wide area networks (including both physical and logical structures) within the Axos environment
* Troubleshoot and manage calls/tickets from the technical services group and assist with network administration
* Help provide technical direction to the company in the LAN/WAN environment and provide project management or assistance for network related initiatives
* Provide analysis of network configuration and related documentation; monitor systems for network alerts and events so quick response can be provided and issues can be proactively addressed
* Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve faults in the operational network
* Ensure routine preventative maintenance and license compliance is performed
* Maintain relationship with vendors and consultants to ensure that network standards and deliverables are met
* Plan, install, and setup physical and virtual servers to meet application, security, and regulatory requirements
* Document production systems for security, capacity, and usage
* Maintain the process involved in administration, maintenance, security, backup, and recovery
* Work to expand security knowledge of banking and workgroup software and to maintain current in network, mainframe, client server, and internet/intranet platforms
* Document policies, processes and procedures of new and existing duties
* Review Cloud technologies for Infrastructure solution alternatives

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

* Strong technical engineering knowledge in routing/switching, wireless, and security
* Excellent IT strategic planning skills and vision
* Excellent resource capacity planning skills
* Proficient in project management methodology and practices
* Proficient in IT Service Management methodology and practices
* Proficient in IT Engineering Lifecycle methodology and practices
* Ability to handle sensitive and difficult situations in a professional and responsive manner; ability to exercise own judgment
* Ability to learn Axos structure and policies sufficient to serve as a resource for questions, referrals, and documentation
* Ability to interact effectively with individuals and organizations at all levels, and establish and maintain good working relationships
* Ability to develop priorities, meet deadlines despite interruptions, and perform multiple complex assignments
* Ability to work independently on assignments with minimal supervision
* Working knowledge of Cisco network routing and switching
* Working knowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls and security
* Capacity to successfully manage simultaneous requests from start to finish
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver results

* Strong team player
* Strong customer service-oriented and ability to interact with clients, staff, and management team

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

* 5+ years' managing a team of network engineers
* High School diploma

Preferred:

* CCNA and/or CCNP
