Dual role responsible for supporting, implementing, and maintaining Insulet's LAN, global WAN, firewalls, voice systems, including IP PBX, voicemail, contact center, and video conferencing systems in a rapidly changing global environment. Test and evaluate network, voice, and video systems for optimum performance in support of ongoing and future business needs. Manage switching, routing, and WiFi infrastructure across company sites worldwide. Work with vendors to get the best services available for the company. Work closely with Insulet Customer Care in different geographic regions to implement the correct voice solutions for customer interaction. Support global expansion by implementing new office builds. Oversee network and voice services globally to support rapid company expansion.
* Analyze business requirements to develop technical network and voice solutions and their framework. * Deploy network and voice infrastructures in new and existing offices worldwide. * Proactive management, monitoring, troubleshooting and technical analysis of the global voice and data infrastructure. * Help with development and implementation of network and voice technology roadmaps globally. * Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose voice and network problems. * Design and test network and voice systems in support of disaster recovery and BCP initiatives. * Evaluates and recommends changes to meet current and future business and regulatory compliance needs across Insulet's ever expanding global footprint. * Be a project manager on IT projects as needed, work closely with the IT leadership and other departments to meet goals and objectives. * Stay abreast of how data, voice, and video infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors. * Consult with business units to provide workable, creative solutions to problems presented. * Manage worldwide network and telecom vendors to obtain the best voice services for the company.
Education and Experience
* CCNA Certification preferred. * Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 4+ years related work experience.
* Must be able to setup computer hardware and workstations. * Working knowledge of SIP, SCCP, MPLS, and OSPF * Working knowledge of QoS and its use in Cisco voice and video * Multisite voice network design and configuration * Cisco routing and switching * Cisco Unity Connection / Cisco Call Manager version 10 or newer * Exposure to Cisco UCCX/UCCE * Cisco switching and routing including Cisco CUBE * Firewall configuration and management * Load Balancer configuration and management
* Must be able to lift and transfer up to 30 pounds. * Domestic and Global travel required - up to 20%.
