We are currently seeking a Network Technician/Desktop Support for our client in the Healthcare domain. This is a Contract position and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Role: Network Technician/Desktop Support

Role Description: The Network Technician/Desktop Support would need to have at least 1-2 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain Critical IS Warehouse Databases and Records
* Configure, troubleshoot and repair equipment based upon its configuration requirements
* Receive and inventory all computer equipment that is delivered to the warehouse; Breakdown and track disposal of all equipment
* Record and track all shipments of computer equipment to sites and to IS technicians
* Learn and back up other IS Warehouse/IS Customer Service positions as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

* 1-2 years in a Warehouse/Inventory environment is ideal.
* Knowledge of Windows desktop operation environments; Knowledge of supported software packages: MSOffice, Microsoft Explorer, Peregrine Asset and Service Center preferred
* General knowledge of LAN operation system: 2003, XP, 7 and Knowledge of computer hardware
* Basic knowledge of command prompt is a plus
* Certified in PC repair or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of security and encryption software (e.g., MSE, Bitlocker) preferred
* Knowledge of computer hardware (A+ certification is a plus)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years
